XIII International Scientific Conference
SOCIOLOGY – SOCIAL WORK AND SOCIAL WELFARE: REGULATION OF SOCIAL PROBLEMS

The annual international scientific conference is held by the Department of Sociology and Social work of LVIV POLYTECHNIC NATIONAL UNIVERSITY with the support of partners: V.N. KARAZIN KHARKIV NATIONAL UNIVERSITY (Kharkiv, Ukraine);  SOCIOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION OF UKRAINE;  POLISH NAVAL ACADEMY (Gdynia, Poland); AGH – UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (Krakow, Poland); UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA (Winnipeg, Canada).

Conference objectives: discussing current problems of the Central and Eastern European countries, in particular, and the social dimensions of Russian aggression against Ukraine; increasing the interest of young researchers for active scientific activities in the field of sociology and social work, as well as promoting scientific relations between leading educational and research institutions in the humanities inside and outside of Ukraine.

Dates of the conference: May 18–19, 2023.

​

Working languages: Ukrainian, English, and Polish.

Form of participation: remote.

According to the results of the conference, a collection of conference materials will be published (in an electronic format). All conference materials will be published in the original language.
