SOCIOLOGY – SOCIAL WORK AND SOCIAL WELFARE: REGULATION OF SOCIAL PROBLEMS

The annual international scientific conference is held by the Department of Sociology and Social work of LVIV POLYTECHNIC NATIONAL UNIVERSITY with the support of partners: V.N. KARAZIN KHARKIV NATIONAL UNIVERSITY (KHARKIV, UKRAINE), NATIONAL DEFENCE UNIVERSITY OF UKRAINE (KYIV, UKRAINE), SOCIOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION OF UKRAINE, WESTERPLATTE HEROES’ NAVY ACADEMY (GDYNIA, POLAND), ACADEMY OF MINING AND METALLURGY ( KRAKÓW, POLAND), UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA (WINNIPEG, CANADA), JULIUS MAXIMILIAN UNIVERSITY OF WÜRZBURG (WÜRZBURG, GERMANY)

Conference objectives: discussing current problems of the Central and Eastern European countries, in particular, and the social dimensions of Russian aggression against Ukraine; increasing the interest of young researchers for active scientific activities in the field of sociology and social work, as well as promoting scientific relations between leading educational and research institutions in the humanities inside and outside of Ukraine.

Dates of the conference: May 9-10, 2024.

Working languages: Ukrainian, English, and Polish.

Form of participation: remote.

According to the results of the conference, a collection of conference materials will be published (in an electronic format). All conference materials will be published in the original language.
